Selection processes

Master’s Degree in Physiological Sciences
Master's degree Admission/Application:
Admission to the PPGCF is permitted to graduated students in the Health Sciences area, Biomedical Sciences or related areas.
Admission requirements for Master degree in the PPGCF will be done through a selection process, which consists of:
I - Evaluation of basic Human Physiology knowledge.
II - Evaluation of English Language knowledge.
III - Interview with the PPGCF Committee member.
The admission process will follow the criteria established in the published admission document. Only candidates approved in the admission process, according to the number of available positions, will be accepted in the PPGCF and will also be accepted by a program's adviser.

PhD Program on Physiological Sciences
Doctorate degree Admission/Application:
Admission to the PhD program of the PPGCF will be done through a selection process, which consists of:
I - Proof of publication, as a first author, of scientific work in the Qualis A, B1-2 journal (CAPES) or with impact factor greater than 2.0, related to the theme of his master's dissertation.
II - Interview with the advisory committee composed of 03 (three) members of the PPGCF.
III - Presentation and approval of the project to be developed in the PhD evaluating feasibility and scientific relevance.
The project presentation should be done as an expositive manner, followed by an argumentation by the advisory committee. Exceptional situations for admission should be analyzed by the PPGCF academic board. The application for admission of a PhD student, who has not completed a master's degree (direct doctorate) or who is studying for a master's degree in PPGCF and has not yet obtained a master's degree (transfer to the doctorate) should be evaluated by the Collegiate of this Program.

Applicants to PhD degree for those do not have the title of master (Direct PhD) need to present:
I - Curriculum vitae in the Lattes platform (CNPq).
II - Proof of publication of 01 scientific article as first author, or 02 scientific articles as co-author, published in related area (s) in JCR journal.
III - Presentation and approval of the project to be developed in the PhD evaluating feasibility and scientific relevance.
IV – A letter of recommendation from the PhD adviser/mentor.
